I am a storyteller.

Through my background in fine art, design, and illustration I translate ideas, concepts, and information into engaging and accessible formats. My approach is diverse and integrated, focusing not only on client goals, but also on the target audience. I work on a wide range of projects, from interpreting complex (and otherwise boring) data into appealing infographics, to telling a story through fun and playful animations or illustrations.
My skills include illustration, concepting and storyboarding videos, creating assets for motion graphics and animation, custom character creation, information architecture, wire framing, data visualization and infographics, hand lettering, typography, print and digital design, branding and identity, project management, and open collaboration.
I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Washington, and later completed a two-year Graphic Design Degree at Shoreline Community College. I have worked as both an agency and in-house designer, and also have experience freelancing, working with clients such as Make-A-Wish and Town Hall Seattle.
In addition to freelancing for Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington, I volunteer and participate in fund-raising events such as the Wish Night Gala and Auction and annual Walk for Wishes. As an active member in my community, I serve on the Everett Cultural Arts Commission, as well as contribute to local blog City on the Sound.
I spend my spare time snuggling my cat, kickboxing, cooking and eating, hand-lettering and doodling, hanging out with my husband, and exploring Everett.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to work together on a specific project or if you think I would be a good fit for your team.
